DESIGN STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP
Leeds Beckett University Landscape Architecture students have a design project in the Leeds Beckett University grounds, and have asked for input from interested local people. The site is the area around the Landscape Resource Centre, next to the university's grounds maintenance depot on the track leading form the Grange to the Victoria Arch, a feature of great historical interest. You'll know all about this if you've attended the Heritage Open Day walks in earlier years run by Andrew Pomeroy. The students will be looking at issues like accessibility, a sensory garden, trees, etc. They would like interested local people to attend a meeting at the Landscape Resource Centre on Tuesday 11th October between 10am and 12.00 noon.
As well as developing their design skills, the students are looking to practice their interpersonal skills when dealing with potential clients. If you're interested, please email us at acmp.friendsofbeckettpark@gmail.com and we'll forward your details to the lecturer, Mohammad, who will put you on the attendance list. Your input will be very much appreciated.
