New Beckett Park bench

This is our new bench, installed by our Saturday volunteers today, on the university boundary near the playground and tennis courts. Enjoy!

If you'd like to join us on Saturday mornings, email acmp.friendsofbeckettpark@gmail and ask to be put on the Saturday mailing list, so that we can tell you when we're meeting and what we'll be doing. As well as making and installing benches, we keep paths clear of branches and brambles, look after our woodlands, maintain the shrub beds and wildflower patch, collect litter, and plant trees in the winter months. It's always enjoyable. it's great exercise, and we break for a rest and a chat at 11.00.
